Lover’s Mantra

Normally I do not write explanations for my poetry instead allowing it to speak for itself. In this case, however, I am presenting a single poem here that has a masculine and feminine alternative to one another. Think of this as two lovers either reciting at the same time or reciting alternately.

Lover’s Mantra – Masculine

I am one
I am one
Beneath the Sun
I am one

You’re the tune
You’re the tune
Within the Moon
You’re the tune

We are whole
We are whole
Completed soul
We are whole

Lover’s Mantra – Feminine

I’m the tune
I’m the tune
Within the Moon
I’m the tune

You are one
You are one
Beneath the Sun
You are one

We are whole
We are whole
Completed soul
We are whole
