Winter Lake Fog by Moonlight

Upon Her frozen shore
Lake Superior glistened
Its mercurial sheen
bathed in lunar glow
thick and frozen vapor
obfuscating the horizon
as the night sky beamed
beneath Orion’s bow

I considered posting a photo but I did not have a photo from that night and there are no photos that I could find online that depicted this event. Please allow the lack of a photo to let your imagination run wild with the beauty reflected in the imagery of the words.
