XXI. World

The journey comes to its seeming end
After the Spirit’s twists, turns, and bends
Yet destination is not the goal
‘Twas the sacred trek that made me whole

Like the serpent who swallows its tail
End meets the beginning without fail
With the great Lady Shiva I dance
‘Neath the quake of her sacred romance

Now I bare fruit of transformation
And issue forth this declaration,
“Wait not for the gods to bring you home.
Freedom is wherever you may roam.”
