Bipolar Mind

Of two minds
constantly entwined
one born of light
one plunged into night

Feelings too deep
Eternal sleep
Depressive sigh
questioning why
Cycle too long
A will not strong
The wish to die
Unstoppable cry

In morning dawn
When dark moves on
Elated breath
No wish for death
Mind moves too fast
But it won’t last
Now wide awake
The world quakes

Of two minds
constantly entwined
one born of light
one plunged into night

Is the mind really bipolar? or just separate entities that make up the whole of the human?
