X. Wheel of Fortune

To the eternal Wheel I am bound
Cycling between life’s ups and its downs
Moving forward has the same meaning
Meaning the same has reverse moving

The Truest death ends in stagnation
That destiny ends in damnation
Thus my spirit continues to move
While the body and mind doth approve

Though seemingly all life falls to chance
The Wheel reveals the entropic dance
Energy is constantly shifting
Life and Light forever uplifting

Very interesting thought- that death is stagnation. And that therefore we have to keep moving to live.

    • In describing the relationship between the Light and Dark natures of the universe with a friend recently I proposed that if the two balanced each other out perfectly that the universe would stagnate and ultimately be dead. So too that if either nature eliminated the other that the ultimate result would be stagnation. Thus it is the truest death. I may have to write an article describing this further.

Deeply profound and mystical…Life is in constant flux…and oh could I but find myself at the Centre of the Wheel of Life? I have really enjoyed your series of tarot card descriptions. You do so understand their deeper, hidden meanings… 🙂
