Question of Division

King Solomon the Wise
knew not to separate two sides
To split the One in twain
The Two would die in vain
Then I look to the Day
The Night moved out of its Way
Perhaps I thought too soon
For the Sun reflects on the Moon

Clever and reflective, this one… 🙂 I love the story of the 2 women and the remaining living baby and Solomon’s clever judgement…and I like the twist at the end of your poem! 🙂
