Blonde Girl Dream

This is another poem that displays the emotion felt during a dream felt as a child that will be included in the novella.

Golden strands of light form her hair
This goddess, this girl sees who I am
Dressed in white gown with skin so fair
We frolic ‘neath the willow upon verdant land
Gaze of youth not the only thing shared.

Walked through meadow, rested in shade
This goddess, this girl holds my hand
Smiling within this evergreen glade
Time slips by like the hourglass sand
The Dream, youth’s love, too soon shall fade.

An old dream. Likely the oldest one I’ve had.

I’ve been told sometimes the dreams from our youth are clarified and solidified in the dreams of our adulthood. We then KNOW and understand more of what the previous meant.
